Packsmith is a US-based distributed commerce logistics platform focused on optimizing home storage spaces for fast, cost-efficient delivery.

We partnered with the team to develop and scale a system that supports same-day delivery, inventory management, and logistics optimization across a distributed warehouse network.

Our work focused on building and evolving the core platform, including Python microservices for forecasting, packing, and delivery optimization. We integrated the system with major postal carriers such as USPS, Australian Post, and EasyPost, as well as e-commerce platforms, enabling seamless order processing and fulfillment.

We developed custom algorithms for efficient boxing and inventory forecasting.

These algorithms enable optimal packing strategies and balanced stock levels across multiple locations.

Additionally, we implemented billing and payout systems using Stripe, supported real-time operations, and continuously optimized workflows to improve delivery speed, reduce costs, and ensure system reliability at scale.

As the platform evolved, we expanded its capabilities to support global carrier integrations, advanced shipment management, and scalable infrastructure for growing demand.

The result is a high-performance logistics system that enables faster delivery, reduces operational overhead, and supports Packsmith’s mission to build a more efficient and sustainable delivery model.
